Wednesday June 5, 2024, the PAF faithful were surprised to discover Valérie Benaïm at the presentation of the C8 program. The columnist of Do not touch My TV had to replace at short notice Pascale de La Tour du Pin, victim of a health problem just before going on air.

“I was Elephant Man”

The journalist recounted her misadventure the next day on Cyril Hanouna’s show, claiming to have “was very scared” after having angioedema.

Pascale from La Tour du Pin explained that she started to bloat while filming a show. “I was Elephant Man, I couldn’t see anything anymore because it had swollen so much”, she detailed. Taken care of by the firefighters, the former BFMTV figure was taken to hospital urgently. “I thought I was going to stay there, I was going to suffocate”she confided.

Cyril Hanouna’s new recruit apparently had an allergic reaction, the origin of which she does not know. She indicated that she had simply been treated with “high dose antihistamines” and is already much better.

Pascale de La Tour du Pin officiated from 2008 to 2017 on BFMTV before joining LCI for four years. Back on BFMTV, she announced to everyone’s surprise in 2023 that she was leaving the news channel to join C8. She is entrusted with the animation of PAF, a daily program which precedes TPMP. The journalist also appears on Cyril Hanouna’s talk show.
