“Maybe win the LM P2 overall as well”

Filipe Albuquerque, here we are at the big meeting of the year and you arrive as winner of a race just a few days ago, in Detroit in IMSA…

Yes, this is the best way to get here! Obviously that doesn’t mean anything for here, but in terms of motivation it always helps. A victory always brings a smile to a driver’s face.

You arrive here with a very good crew at United Autosports where you will be associated with Ben Keating and Ben Hanley…

I am very enthusiastic ! We won in 2020 and in the following years we were fighting for victory, but there are imponderables that happen and put us out of the race. This year, all three of us are very experienced. It’s important for Le Mans. We have a good chance in LM P2 Pro-Am, but maybe we can win the overall in LM P2 as well.

Ben Keating will be the key to this…

Certainly, he will have to compete with youngsters ranked Silver perhaps faster than him, but overall his experience is more important. We may have an opportunity. It’s a long ride and so many little things can go wrong in 24 hours. Let’s keep calm and take it step by step.
