New York is getting ready to vibrate this Sunday, November 3. More than 50,000 runners will parade through the city's streets for the 53rd edition of the New York Marathon.
Tamirat Tola and Hellen Obiri in search of the double
With a departure scheduled for 2:35 p.m. for women and 3:05 p.m. for men, the best athletes on the planet should take around 2 hours and 5 minutes of effort to complete the 42.195 km on the program. On the men's side, Tamirat Tola is the big favorite. The Ethiopian, gold medalist at Paris 2024, won in New York last year, breaking the record for the North American event (2'04''58).
