On this October morning, Véronique brings her rental vehicle to the garage. “It’s not my day, Wednesday…” The day before, a window of his car was broken in the street. This Nazairian, who benefits from a reduced price rental from the Re-pare garage, will also benefit from a lower cost repair during the day, before going back to work.
Established since 2022 in Saint-Nazaire, the Re-pare garage solidaire association offers its less fortunate customers reduced rates. A dual tariff system makes it possible to adjust repair prices to income. A rental and sales service is also offered.
“We have five mechanics and two secretaries. They are the only employees. The association could not function without volunteers”explains Jacques Malthieu. The president of the association urges volunteers to join this solidarity adventure.
