The MotoGP Valencia Grand Prix, scheduled to be the last round of the world championship from November 15 to 17, has been canceled due to the deadly floods which affected the south of Spain, the promoter of the championship.
A new circuit will be announced soon to host the final race of the season on a date which will also be specified later, the same source said.
The Valencia region, in southeastern Spain, was hit this week by floods which left at least 205 dead and dozens missing, according to a latest report.
The MotoGP championship is currently hotly contested between the Spaniard Jorge Martin and the Italian Francesco Bagnaia and the title could have to wait until the last round to be awarded.

The 19th and penultimate round of the championship takes place this weekend in Thailand. Jorge Martin (Ducati-Pramac) has 453 points and Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati) 436. The Spaniard can be titled from this race; otherwise, we will have to wait until the 20th and final Grand Prix of the season.
