Ardèche: three people injured by firearms leaving a nightclub
The events occurred on the night of Thursday October 31 to November 1, around 2:30 a.m. in the parking lot of the nightclub. The Seven in Saint-Péray. A 22-year-old man was shot in the head. Treated as an absolute emergency, he was transported to Valencia hospital. The second victim, a 25-year-old woman, was shot in the leg. The third, a 22-year-old man, was injured by shrapnel.
At least 158 dead in floods in Spain: how to explain such a heavy toll?
The dramatic bad weather which affected the south-east of Spain has caused the death of at least 158 peoplethe highest human toll in this country since deadly floods in October 1973. This flood – linked to a 'cold drop' phenomenonan isolated depression at altitude quite common at this time of year – was such that it caused several rivers to emerge from their beds and led to the sudden formation of enormous torrents of mud.

Deadly fire in the old town of Annecy: the disaster seen from the sky
