A car on fire on the emergency lane, a van on the side on the left lane and major traffic jams, a impressive accident occurred this Monday, October 21, 2024 on the A6 motorway near Lisses (Essonne) in the provincial direction towards Paris.
Four people slightly injured
In addition to these two vehicles, the collision which occurred early in the afternoon also involved another car.
“The provisional assessment shows four victims in relative emergency, being assessed”, specifies the departmental fire and rescue service which has hired around ten firefighters on site.
The latter notably used a water lance to extinguish the fire which set one of the vehicles on fire involved in the accident.
The traffic was severely disrupted the time of the intervention on which agents of the Republican Motorway Security Company (CRS) were also mobilized.
