He dreams of doing what no athlete has done for 70 years. Anthony Edwards, who will begin his 5th season in the NBA with the Minnesota Timberwolves, aims to play in the NFL later. A transition from the biggest Basketball championship in the world to the biggest in American football, something that only Bud Grant, NBA champion in 1950, has achieved in history.

He is today one of the best players in the NBA, averaging 25.9 pts/game last season. Minnesota, led by Edwards but also French pivot Rudy Gobert, reached the Western Conference final during the last playoffs. The basketball player opened his trophy cabinet this summer by winning the gold medal at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games with the United States.
