Cult (Prime Video): Who won Loft story 2?

It’s 2002, M6 is offering a second edition of Loft Story after the success of the first season. After candidates like Loana, Jean-Edouard and Steevy, who left their mark, it was Kamel, Angela, David but also Afida Turner, Karine and Thomas who made their debut on the show. For this edition, it was the latter two who won even though they were not as controversial as certain other candidates like Lesly, the first name with which Afida Turner had chosen to participate in the Loft adventure. . They won by less than 500,000 euros to share to each invest in real estate, therefore up to 250,000 euros. Angela and David, very disappointed, each won a car and a trip.

What happened to Karine and Thomas?

Karine was a flamenco teacher, before becoming known thanks to the show. Appreciated for her kindness, the young woman, 22 years old at the time, did not ride the wave of her media coverage to profit from it since she did not participate in other entertainment shows. “We were part of the first generation of reality . In the loft, the atmosphere was good-natured. It was a human adventure, we had no ideas in our heads“, she confided to Télé Loisirs. And to specify: “The Loft has nothing to do with my career as an actress. I have been doing theater for a long time, and I passed the castings, like everyone else”.

For his part, Thomas found the courage to publicly announce his homosexuality and wrote, in the wake of his participation in the Loft, a book entitled “No one is perfect, Mom!”in which he returned to his homosexuality, a taboo subject at the time. The young man had chosen to invest and thanks to a competition of young entrepreneurs, he was able to open a gallery-boutique of modern art objects in Angoulême. His art gallery still exists, but the former candidate chose to turn to the banking world by becoming an advisor in a BNP Paribas agency in Val-d’Oise.
