The supporters who accompanied Olympique de to were unable to witness their team’s victory on Sunday.

The prefect banned them from entering the stadium due to their excessive numbers and the presence of hooded individuals equipped with iron bars.

“There were 650 of them”specified the divisional commissioner of Hérault to AFP, recalling that the gauge of parking reserved for visitors had been set for this match at 450 Marseille supporters. “When we asked them to turn back, at least 150 individuals faced the police”he added. “We had to use force to restore public order.”

According to a source close to the matter, the supporters traveled on board eleven buses. Supervised by the police, they were forced to leave the department.
