It is the story of a platform that threatens to collapse. In Juvigné, the town hall issued an order to prohibit access to the only stand on its football field. She installed barriers to prevent people from passing through. This wooden stand could collapse. One side of the structure is sagging. Deconstruction is planned in the coming days. In the meantime, without the stand, it sometimes happens that there are no longer many supporters coming to support the Bleuets de Juvigné teams, regrets club president Sébastien Poutou.
“If the weather is not good, it is difficult to find shelter. For a year, there have been fewer spectators. When we had very rainy weekends, people still took shelter despite the barriers. It was therefore decided to quickly destroy the stand for everyone’s safety. It plays on the refreshment bar in terms of numbers too” declares the Mayenne leader. The reconstruction of a new stand will take several months.
The Bleuets de Juvigné club is growing. In 2019, it had fewer than 100 licensees. There are now 190 of them, with one employee, one work-study student and two young people in civic service.
