Subaru Canada today revealed pricing and details for the next-generation 2025 Subaru Forester. This model, a pillar of the Subaru range, stands out for its renewed design, improved performance and cutting-edge technologies, offering increased refinement and high-end equipment.

Performance and Engine

The 2025 Subaru Forester is powered by a 2.5-liter SUBARU BOXER engine, developing 180 horsepower and 178 pound-feet of torque. All versions are equipped with a Lineartronic® CVT for smoother and quieter driving. Subaru’s Symmetrical Full-Time All-Wheel Drive, revised for improved responsiveness and handling, is also standard on all models.

Security and Technology

Award-winning EyeSight driver assistance technology is standard across the entire Forester 2025 range. It includes a wide-angle single camera and improved control software, enabling faster recognition of pedestrians and cyclists at intersections. Additional features, such as reverse automatic braking and blind-spot detection, are also available.

New: The Emergency Stop Assistant

For the first time on a Subaru, Emergency Stop Assist is included as standard. If the driver does not respond to the alerts, this system immobilizes the vehicle, activates the hazard lights and unlocks the doors, while communicating with emergency services via SUBARU STARLINK Connected Services.
