Author of a final card of 68 (-4), Martin Couvra finished at -13 (275) just outside the top 10 of the Hainan Open. It is the best Tricolor in the final ranking of the Hainan Open won at the first play-off hole by the Dane Hamish Brown ahead of the Filipino Lloyd Jefferson Go.

Only one play-off hole, on the par 5 of the 18th Sanya Luhuitou Club will have been sufficient to allow the Dane Hamish Brown to beat the Filipino Llyod Jefferson Go. Both had completed the 72 holes of the Hainan Open with a total score of -19 (269), completing this last round in China with a respective card of 66 (-6) and 67 (-5).

Thanks to this success, the second on the Challenge Tour after the Kaskada Golf Challenge on June 16, Hamish Brown, 25, was projected to 3rd place in Road to Mallorca (+1). Only third at -18 (270) in this antepenultimate meeting of the 2024 season, the Finn Oliver Lindell grabs 4th place in this Road (+5).

Benjamin Hébert gains a place in the top 10 of the Road

Best Habs with his 11th final place at -13 (275), Martin Couvrera also carried out a good accounting operation since he returned to the top 20 of the Road, after having left it at the end of the 2nd round on Friday. The Azuréen is thus projected to 19th place, synonymous with playing rights on the DP World Tour in 2025.

Robin Sciot Siegrist et Jungle Guillamoundeguy finish in 21st position at -10 (278) ahead Felix Mory (45th to -5) and Benjamin Hebert (49th to -4). The latter, despite his final ranking, advances a notch to the Road. The Briviste is now 9th before continuing from October 17 to 20 with the Hangzhou Open ($500,000 endowment).
