Only 98th in the Race at the start of this 106th FedEx French Open in history, Dan Bradbury, 25, won to everyone’s surprise the oldest tournament in continental Europe. Author of a solid card of 66 (-5) without bogey and a final score of -16 (268), the Englishman is one length ahead of his compatriot Sam Bairstow, the Danes Thorbjørn Olesen and Jeff Winther as well as the German Yannik Paul. Leader after 54 holes, the Swede Jesper Svensson sinks (27th) while the French Adrien Saddier and Julien Guerrier finish 18th at -9 (275).
