A group of young people published several videos on social networks showing themselves above the Silo 5 heritage building in Montreal late Friday afternoon.
Several photos were captured on the social network Instagram where around twenty young people entered the abandoned factory located on Mill Street, near Riverside Street, in the Ville-Marie borough.

We see several people dressed in black above the building with pink smoke bombs.
However, the group’s intentions have not been indicated, despite multiple reactions.

Reaction of the SPVM
The Montreal City Police Service (SPVM) did not confirm that these images were captured at the time of their publication, but that a 911 call was made around 5:20 p.m. concerning a group of young people who were logging into the site.
Three teenagers were arrested, confirms SPVM spokesperson Caroline Chèvrefils. Two of them are 14 years old and the other is 16 years old.
They “were released unconditionally, but their parents were contacted by the police to inform them of the current situation,” adds the public relations officer.
No other individual was located by the police at the time of the incident.
