It’s now official: after months of rumors and negotiations, the city of Laval, Stade Lavallois and the agglomeration have agreed to launch a renovation project for Stade Franis-Le-Basser! Heading towards 2030, with a laying of the first stone which could take place at the end of 2025, probably rather in 2026 according to information from Oxygène Radio.

This legendary venue for the French championship, emblematic for the Laval club and therefore for the League 2, will be brought up to date with in particular two new stands behind the goals which will be able to bring the maximum attendance between 12 and 14,000 spectators on match evenings. All with a museum and a new shop which will open their doors and the ambition to make the Pommeraies district a flourishing economic sector and to attract businesses of all kinds. For the moment, the budget for such a project is not known and many things remain to be planned, but the Tango will perhaps be able to benefit from a high quality – but not excessive – theater in which to perform their matches in a few seasons…
