This is a brake on the experimentation of new directions of traffic in this sector, in Nîmes, in the Gard. THE risk of collapse of a fence wall of a riverside property on Chemin du Mas de Balan requires the road to be closed to traffic, from this Monday, October 14, 2024, and for an indefinite period.
Only riverside access will be possible on Chemin du Mas de Balan; road which will be dead-ended on either side of the work zone at n°152. Pedestrian traffic will also be prohibited in the work zone.
Vehicle diversions will be made via the chemin de Tire-Cul which will be made two-way of circulation.
Be careful, the circulation of vehicles +3.5 tonnes Tire-Cul road is prohibited.
Traffic difficulties are expected in the area.
Since the summer of 2024, the city has been testing a new traffic plan in this neighborhood. With the Tire-cul only in the direction of the ascent, and the descent for the Chemin du Mas de Balan, where a cycle path had just been created.
