The call for witnesses was launched this Friday, October 11, 2024, on social networks by the Tarn gendarmerie. It concerns a serious accident which occurred three days earlier, on Tuesday October 8 in the morning on the A68 motorway.
The accident occurred between 6 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday October 8 between Lisle-sur-Tarn and Rabastens, on the A68 motorway, in the Albi-Toulouse direction. According to the gendarmes, the two vehicles involved are a gray Renault Mégane car and a white Citroën Jumper van.
“The Gaillac gendarmerie wishes to identify motorists who witnessed the factscan we read in the message published on social networks. Any useful information on the circumstances of this accident can be communicated by calling 05.63.57.73.00.“
Two people were injured in this accident. Sixteen firefighters responded to the scene to help the victims. They were a 40-year-old woman and a 62-year-old man who had been hospitalized in Albi.
The accident caused major traffic difficulties at this early hour.
