[Mise à jour le 14/11/2024 à 15 h 50] Firefighters have informed that the fire has been extinguished. There is no rehousing required. The two damaged apartments were second homes. Access to the street is possible again.
The vehicles raced down rue Claude-Groulard at full speed, in Dieppe (Seine-Maritime), Thursday November 14, 2024. firefighters as well as the police intervene in the city centerrue du 19-Août 1942, as part of a fire.

The street closed to traffic
Before emergency services arrived at 11:15 a.m., five people were evacuated. In total, four engines as well as 13 firefighters are on site. The fire is located on the wooden floor between the first and second floors of the building, which is currently being renovated.
Firefighters are trying to bring the fire under control. The cause of the fire is not yet defined, but it could be due to an electrical problem.
The electricity was cut off in the street. Enedis is on the scene. For the moment, no casualties have been reported and additional reconnaissance is underway.
On the traffic side, the street was blocked by the police.
