Set up since September as part of the Temps Regain activities, the embroidery workshop brings together enthusiasts on Tuesdays, from 2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., at the Paillons de Chacé room. A workshop led by Angélique Maindron. Taking inspiration from models taken from specialized magazines, the embroiderers have fun personalizing their work. A considerable amount of work that takes hours to complete a pattern.
“We are a real family, connected by thread”
In addition to the embroidery workshop, there are seamstresses, a total of between fifteen and twenty followers. When we embroider, when we sew, we think of something else,
indicate the members. By meeting each other, we form a real family, connected by embroidery thread and sewing. We help each other, we teach techniques to newcomers, we help them create their works, we exchange our models.
In the evening, from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m., there is an embroidery and sewing workshop for working people. There are five of us,”
specifies Angélique Maindron.
The workshop is even open during school holidays. For people wishing to come and sew or embroider, they can come directly to the site or contact the president of Temps Recovered, Françoise Maitreau, on 06 87 06 64 13.
The members emphasize that their works are produced for the Art and Wine fair which will take place on November 24 in Brézé.
