Half annoyed, half tired, many users deplore that the good quality of service put in place this summer on the network in view of the Olympic and Paralympic Games is only a distant memory.
The quality of service observed in public transport in the Ile-de-France region this summer during the Games already seems a long way off, if users are to be believed. Since the start of the school year, they have no longer hidden their dissatisfaction, denouncing the extremely long waiting times, including during peak hours, while employees are back on transport. “They’re talking about supply returning to normal, but if that’s the normal supply, then there’s still work to do”says Céline, arriving at work, offended that the waiting time between two metros reaches 5 minutes during rush hour.
“We can clearly see that it’s back to school, there are many more passenger incidents and stops for traffic regulation”confirms Matthieu, who takes the metro daily. Same observation on social networks, where everyone has their own anecdote. “Hard return to reality in Paris. After the Olympics, there are fewer metros… now crowded”points out this user on Twitter
