These are Gabon, which meets 22% of the Jewish state’s needs, Nigeria (9%) and the Republic of Congo (6%). [Selon ce même rapport, l’Azerbaïdjan est le premier exportateur de pétrole vers Israël (28 %).]

Israeli army kills more than 40,000 people in Gaza [selon les chiffres du ministère de la Santé du Hamas] since the start of the offensive launched in October 2023 in retaliation for the Hamas attack, which left more than 1,200 dead.

Oil is essential to the operations of the Israeli armed forces, says Irene Pietropaoli, a senior fellow at the British Institute of International and Comparative Law (Biicl), and the states and companies that supply it “contribute decisively to violations of international humanitarian law and genocidal acts committed against Palestinians in Gaza.”
