Saturday, October 5, a regional 2 table tennis meeting took place in Espère. The Ping Salviacois TT1, in agreement with the TT Reignac (Mercuès – Espère) faced Montauban. Proudly displaying their brand new jerseys, the Lotois joint team won 11 to 3. Julien scored flawlessly with three singles victories without conceding a single set, he completed this fine record by winning the doubles with Séverin, the coach common to both clubs.
As for PSTT 2, in departmental 1 in Salviac, it lost 13 to 1 against Reignac 2. The unfortunate Salviacois suffered a severe but logical 9 to 1. The difference in level between the two teams made the difference.
On the other hand, in D4, PSTT4, reinforced by Ronan, a D2 player who was definitely a real competitor, easily won 8 to 2. Ronan won his three matches and double that, as on the first day! A great victory for the three musketeers of PSTT5. Not at all impressed by the three guys from Cahors, they only let three sets slip away and won 8 to 2.
The PSTT3 in D2 was traveling to Béduer. Despite great motivation and great exchanges, the team failed to win against a determined team, and lost 9 to 1. Gaël managed to bring home the only point for Salviac in a suspenseful match and tense, in five sets, but the doubles was lost in five sets.
