For several weeks, excitement has been building within the workshops of the Théâtre de l’Échange. The performances are approaching, amateur actors are refining roles and gestures. The Raymond Devos group is in full rehearsal. The comedian’s texts, a subtle carver of words, are embodied and twirl through sketches, some of which are still relevant today. “ We work with respect for the author but according to the style of each actor », underlines Philippe Harbart who accompanies the interpretation of each of them with kind advice.

Another highlight, Rosalie Lowie’s piece entitled The Promo, which will be performed on May 17 and 18. Theatrical play combines songs and dances. Four actors, already familiar with the stage, bring relaxation and humor. “ I am impressed by the work done », confides the Wimereusian writer, present at the rehearsal and very moved to see her text come to life.

A police comedy

The theater group working on the work titled Eight women works to precisely link together the three acts of this rhythmic and emotion-rich police comedy. “ Our roles are very contrasting. And in this family story, there are not only beautiful people! » laugh the actresses. From May 17, the groups will confront the stage and the public. A strong moment that they await with a little stress and a lot of pleasure.
