How can we educate children of school age (from 3rd kindergarten to 6th primary school) to maintain their health through concrete activities? Between the school program to follow and the lack of time, it is sometimes difficult to take a step back to change habits and introduce new methods or activities to improve the well-being of children. While thinking that being well in your head and in your body promotes learning.
Clearly, you have to be ready to learn and grow from a young age. To do this, activities are regularly carried out in the vast majority of schools in the city with professionals, as well as the different educational communities which are part of a health education system. Direction the Notre-Dame Institution where fun workshops were recently offered to children. Very concretely, it is within the framework of the 17th week of APEL (Parents Association) on the theme “Good in your body, good in your head”, and the school project on sport and health , that cycle 2 students participated in various workshops with health professionals.

Several themes were discussed. Sleep and screens, a workshop led by two doctors, then nutrition with a dietitian and a nurse caught the attention of the participants. The day continued on the same theme by explaining how to take care of your teeth with a dentist and a pharmacist, then having good posture for writing with two psychomotor therapists.
Finally, manage your emotions with a psychologist and a nurse. The day concluded with a sports course with a sports instructor and a nurse. Each of the 97 students was delighted to leave with their dental kit offered by a French laboratory, the ARS and health insurance.
