Following the success of RB Leipzig earlier in the day, the pressure was on the shoulders of Bayern Munich who traveled to Eintracht Frankfurt this Sunday. If Vincent Kompany’s men started this meeting well, opening the score after a quarter of an hour of play thanks to Kim min-Jae, Frankfurt was able to take advantage of the spaces left by the Bavarian defense. Author of the equalizing goal (22nd), Omar Marmoush then became a passer for Hugo Ekitike (35th). But Bayern quickly equalized thanks to another central defender, Dayot Upamecano (38th).

In the second half, Bayern Munich came back with better intentions and regained the advantage thanks to Michael Olise’s fourth goal (53rd), in the league this season. Dominated throughout the entire second period, Frankfurt finally managed to equalize in added time thanks to Marmoush’s second goal (90th + 3), well launched from deep by Éric Dina Ebimbe. With the point drawn (3-3), Bayern regains first place in the Bundesliga standings, thanks to a better goal difference than Leipzig. Frankfurt is in third place, one point behind the two teams.
