Let’s say that the representative of the “” largely obtained the advantage. See the fight in the main video.

In 2024-2025, Paré will play his first season in the Toronto Maple Leafs organization. The Levis native, who has never played a game in the Bettman circuit, previously wore the colors of the American Hockey League (AHL) farm clubs of the Ottawa Senators and the Colorado Avalanche.

The 25-year-old skater was a sixth-round pick (173rd overall) of the Boston Bruins in the 2017 draft, but never played professionally for that organization.

Paré participated in two preseason games with the Leafs before being assigned to the AHL. His questionable hit on Laine was what garnered the most attention during his brief training camp with the Queen City club. A knee-to-knee contact with the Finn forced the latter to leave the meeting. The CH player will be absent from ice surfaces for several months.

Paré then became the target of fans angry to see Laine fall in combat before his first official match with the Habs. Odious comments as well as death threats were directed towards the young man. The CH players also condemned the online hatred towards the skater.
