A spectacular accident occurred this Sunday, October 6, around 11:30 a.m., on the A320 motorway, in Forbach, at kilometer point 6.7, just at the interchange of the Carrefour de l’Europe commercial zone.
Only one vehicle, a large German sedan, is involved. For reasons which have not yet been determined, the motorist, who was traveling in the direction of Saarbrücken-Freyming-Merlebach, lost control of his vehicle, violently rammed the safety barriers and ended his journey on the central reservation. . The impact was extremely violent and literally pulverized the car. The two occupants had to be extricated. They are very seriously injured. Unconscious, they will be airlifted. The helicopter will soon land on the highway.

Major resources deployed
Major emergency resources were deployed. The firefighters of Freyming-Merlebach, Forbach, Behren-lès-Forbach and Saint-Avold received reinforcements from the Samu and Smur teams from the Sarreguemines and Forbach hospitals. Around ten emergency vehicles are involved.
