A strong statement which would however be far from being the truth if we are to believe Jerome Rothen who does not spare the former coach of PSGwhom he accuses of having lied.
“You’re kidding, we know very well what you could have said to the supporters”
“ You’re kidding, because when you arrived at Paris Saint-Germain, we know very well what you were able to say to the supporters, managers and players of PSG, that there was only Paris that was in his head, that ‘there was no other club, other than Marseille, if there was one that wasn’t more in love with OM, it was him (…) that’s the reality, that’s what he told me too », reveals the former player of the PSG at the microphone of RMCbefore adding a layer.

“ It’s okay, you didn’t have Olympique de Marseille in your head. Or maybe you lied to us, and I hate that. And when you lie to people, automatically the marriage in Paris couldn’t go well, and it didn’t go well. (…) For what ? Because you were a weathervane. (…) We can put a little passion and heart into our football, and be sincere », adds Jerome Rothen.
