The inflation rate in Tunisia stabilized during the month of September 2024 at 6.7%, according to data published on Saturday by the National Institute of Statistics.

The National Institute of Statistics explained, according to household consumption indicators for September 2024, this stability by an acceleration in the pace of change in food prices, taking into account the annual slippage, on the one hand, (9.2 percent in September, compared to 8.5 percent in August) and the prices of the entertainment and culture group (7 percent, compared to 5.8 percent in August), the pace of increase in prices of clothing and shoes (9.7 percent in September compared to 9.9 percent in August), and alcoholic beverages and tobacco (0.3 percent in September compared to 5.4 percent in August), on the other hand, decreased.
