Fourteen years old. A fourteen-year-old teenager was arrested in Marseille very early on Friday, reports BFM TV. He is suspected of being the author of the fatal shootings which led a VTC driver to ram his vehicle, the same night, into the wall of an elementary school near Saint Charles station.
How was he found so quickly? Because the young boy, native of Nîmes (Gard) and resident in Avignon (Vaucluse), was “tossed” by an inmate from Luynes prison. This man, whose identity is not known, said he was a member of the Marseille drug trafficking gang the DZ Mafia. Above all, he explained that he had recruited the teenager on social networks… but for another assassination.
Except that the shooter obviously had a dispute with the VTC driver, which led to his murder. Then to his arrest since the hitman was “given away” “because he had not done his job well”, a source close to the case told BFMTV.
The age of the shooter surprises many. The spokesperson for the Alliance Police nationale union, Rudy Mana, indicated that in his “twenty-three years” of career in Marseille, he had “never seen a case like this”.
