After a forced break due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Emmaüs groups in the Pays de la Loire region are renewing their tradition by organizing their regional fair. This solidarity event, for the benefit of Emmaüs International, will be held on Sunday June 9 at the Angers Exhibition Center.

According to Angers Villactu, Emmaüs groups in the Pays de la Loire region are mobilizing to offer an exceptional day of solidarity on Sunday June 9 at the Angers Exhibition Center. Before the health crisis, these regional fairs had already taken place in Angers in 2012, at Le Mans in 2018 and in Nantes in 2019. The objective is simple: to offer a major solidarity sale in favor of Emmaüs International, the time of daytime.

A diversity of activities

Over more than 4,000 m², visitors will have the opportunity to discover a multitude of second-hand objects for sale, as well as a photo exhibition highlighting Emmaüs’ actions. Conferences on important themes such as poverty, poor housing and international solidarity will also be on the program. In addition, a documentary film entitled “Emmaüs, the circular, social and solidarity economy” will be screened, offering an inspiring perspective on the work accomplished by the organization.

Useful information

The show will be held on Sunday June 9 from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Angers Exhibition Center. Entrance is 1 euro, but visitors are invited to contribute more for the benefit of Emmaus International. This event promises to be an enriching day, combining solidarity, discovery and commitment.
