Wellness company allegedly involved in Paul Pogba’s positive test

Paul Pogba, suspended for four years following a positive test for testosterone, awaits the result of his appeal before the Court of Arbitration for Sport. According to the Daily Mail, an American wellness company, 10H Health Systems, is believed to be involved in the midfielder’s positive test.

Paul Pogba (31), who has 91 caps with the France team, received a four-year suspension last February for violations of anti-doping rules. Testing positive for testosterone after a match against Udinese, the midfielder has not been on the field since last August.

According to the Daily Mail, an American wellness company, named 10X Health Systems, is involved in Paul Pogba’s positive test. This company, based in the United States, was co-founded by Gary Brecka, a health guru, and Carrie Carda. This company has four health centers in the United States, including three in Florida and one in California.

Pogba accuses the American clinic

The former Manchester United midfielder appealed his suspension to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS). According to the British media, Paul Pogba believes that his positive test was caused via pills sent by the American clinic 10X Health Systems.

The company is said to be named in the findings of the midfielder’s appeal. Still according to the tabloid, photographic evidence exists with the name of the company on the bottles of pills received by the 2018 world champion. In its conclusions, the French community also claims that Doctor Carda would have administered these famous pills to him.

The Daily Mail specifies that Paul Pogba would have consulted Gary Brecka, one of the co-founders of the company. A consultation following which the doctor would have recommended the player to take tablets after several tests showing deficiencies in the player’s body.

On the 10H Health Systems website, it is announced that the company “is on a mission to 10x the well-being of people around the world by improving human performance. Modern medicine is not a practice focused on the patient. We want to take you on a wellness journey that will change your life for the better and propel you to the next level.”

While awaiting the result of his appeal before the CAS, Paul Pogba participated, in recent days, in the filming of Fabien Onteniente’s new film “4 Zeros”, a sequel to the famous “3 Zeros” released in 2002.
