According to the daily Progress, A pressurization problem in the cabin of a Boeing forced Air Canada flight AC 876 connecting Montreal to Lyon to turn around this Friday evening. The plane had flown for almost three hours and was preparing to cross the Atlantic when it had to return to Quebec with its 254 passengers.

The captain then announced after more than two hours of flight the return to Montreal, indicating that there was indeed a problem with pressurization and that the plane was not flying high enough.
Landing as a precaution
Also contacted by the daily, Air Canada confirmed “ that a pressurization indication has been detected » during this flight and priority landing was requested by the crew “ strictly as a precaution, in accordance with our standard operating procedures.” The plane is currently being inspected and another has been chartered by the Canadian company for these travelers the next day.
