A popular Tik Tok star with 3.9 million followers, known as “Mr. Prada 456,” was charged with the murder of a Louisiana man therapist after investigators say the victim sang was discovered in his apartment, according to ‘Folks.com’.
Terryon Thomas, 20, was charged with second-degree murder and obstruction of justice in the death of William Nicholas Abraham, 69, the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office announced Thursday (Oct. 3).
Thomas is currently being held in a Dallas County, Texas, jail, where he was arrested on October 1 on unrelated charges including unauthorized use of a vehicle, aggravated criminal damage to property and resisting Stop.
The charges come after Abraham’s body was found wrapped in a tarpaulin on the side of a highway in Tangipahoa Parish on September 29. Authorities say Abraham died of blunt force trauma in what they believe was a murder.
An arrest warrant obtained by ‘PEOPLE’ revealed that Thomas was arrested a day later in Texas after being found driving Abraham’s car. When stopped by policeThomas allegedly attempted to flee, crashing the vehicle in a parking lot.
Surveillance footage taken at a store showed an individual driving Abraham’s vehicle shortly before it was abandoned, leading investigators to later identify Thomas as the suspect.
Authorities executed a search warrant at Thomas’ Baton Rouge apartment, where they allegedly discovered evidence of a violent altercation, including blood matching Abraham’s DNA and several sharp objects and weapons.
Witnesses also told authorities they saw Thomas dragging an object wrapped in a blue tarp from his apartment, struggling as he carried it down the stairs and into what was believed to have been Abraham’s car.
The relationship between the two men remains unclear and police say there is no indication Thomas was a client of Abraham, a licensed life coach and professional counselor who went by the name “Dr. Nick.”
“I appreciate the work done by the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office, the Louisiana State Police and Crime Lab, the Baton Rouge Police Department, the United States Marshal’s Service and all other players involved,” said East Baton Rouge Sheriff Sid Gautreaux. “This is an ongoing investigation…I hope this arrest can provide some closure for friends and family.” »
