World Palliative Care Day organized at the Sables-d’Olonne hospital

The Côte de Lumière Hospital Center in Sables d’Olonne invites you to celebrate World Palliative Care Day on Monday October 7, 2024.

This event will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the hospital lobby.

A photographic exhibition

On the program for this day, it will be possible to meet the Mobile Support and Palliative Care Team as well as volunteers from the JALMALV association (Until Death Accompany Life), present to interact with the public.

During this day, you will be able to discover the Vendée palliative care network and its missions. through a photographic exhibitionand exchange with professionals and volunteers.

For the day, a music therapist and hospital biographer will also be there.

A meeting around the theme “Drinking and eating at the end of life” will be offered at 2:30 p.m.

All the Vendée palliative care teams are mobilizing for this event and invite you to come and meet them in local hospitals (La Roche-sur-Yon, Challans, Machecoul, La Chataigneraie).
