Repair work on the surfaces of the E40/A3 motorway near the Battice interchange will take place this Saturday, October 5. They will require the closure of two ramps of the interchange and locally that of the right lane on the highway.
This Saturday, October 5, between 5 a.m. and midnight, on the E40/A3, only in the direction of Aachen:
– Traffic will only be in the left lane;
– The ramp connecting the E40/A3 coming from Liège to the E42/A27 towards Battice will be closed;
➢ Users traveling on the E40/A3 towards Aachen wishing to reach Battice will be invited to continue their route on the E40/A3, to make a U-turn at interchange no. 37bis “Thimister” , take the E40/A3 towards Liège to take the Battice interchange.
– The slip road connecting the E42/A27 coming from Battice to the E40/A3 towards Aachen will be closed;
➢ Users coming from Battice and wishing to take the E40/A3 towards Aix-la-Chapelle will be invited to continue their route on the E42/A27, to make a U-turn at interchange no. 2 “Chaineux », join the E42/A27 towards Battice and take the Battice interchange to join the E40/A3 towards Aachen.
