La Mie d’Or Bakery in Rouez (Sarthe) is fine. In less than a year, she created two jobs. She has just launched into delivery of everything that is snaking.
Winning bet of the municipality
Many bakeries have closed their doors in rural areas. The town of Rouez has nevertheless bet on the opening of a brand new establishment. At the head of La Mie d’Or since July 13, 2023, Djamal Belkia And Maylis quickly found their cruising speed. In less than a year, they have already hired a second waitress (Lisa de Rouez) and a pastry chef (Alan de Sillé). The quality of their various products and their sense of welcome “honor our town”, book Ludovic Robidas, the mayor of Rouez.
Delivery is already a great success
No question of falling into routine. Djamal and his team are taking on a new challenge: the delivery of everything snaking (kebab, tacos, bulk, panini, tenders, pizza…). “This is a new service that we offer, within a 15 km radius, from Tuesday to Saturday, from 7:30 p.m. until 10 p.m..”
Launched on April 16, “this formula is already very successful”, underlines the boss of the Boulangerie La Mie d’Or.
