Recently, the “Prix Robert Bellanger”, an annual cycling race, has once again attracted cycling enthusiasts. Organized by La Patriote de Bonnétable cycling section, the event brought together an enthusiastic crowd along the roads of Terrehault.

228 runners at the start

In partnership with the festival committee and the municipality of Terrehault, this competition saw the participation of 228 runners, from different categories, from juniors to seniors, with also the presence of six female cyclists.

The distances covered varied from 30 km for the minors to 80 km for the category 1-2 runners.

The winners of each category shone with their performances: Mathieu Roger from VC Nonantais in category 1, Julien Furet from UC Montgesnoise in category 2, Frédéric Padiou from VC Verrois in category 3, Gil Salmon from Le Mans Triathlon in category 4, Joël Bellanger from PB in category 5, Thomas Reglain from MSV in the Cadets, Marceau Fougeray from UC Montgesnoise in the Minimes, and Bina Masson from VC Verrois in the women’s category.

A special mention for the club president, Joël Bellanger, who won first place in his category, showing his commitment and passion for cycling.

The awards ceremony took place in a friendly atmosphere, in the presence of Ms. Aubry, partners and elected officials, who contributed to the success of this event.
