The last fight of the preliminary card of the UFC 301 gala ended in a very special way, when Joanderson Brito won by knockout. technique… thanks to a single leg kick.

In the second round of this duel presented in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, the local favorite hit his opponent Jack Shore (17-2-0) in the leg. Soon, a large amount of blood flowed from the wound and the referee paused the fight.

After checking the doctor in the octagon, the official decided to give the victory to Brito (17-3-1). The Brazilian had dominated the clash against the Welshman until then. Watch in main video.

The three other preliminary fights, all presented on TVA Sports, were won by unanimous decision of the judges.

On pay television, flyweight champion Alexandre Pantoja will defend his title against Australian Steve Erceg in the headliner of UFC 301.

Another Brazilian veteran of the discipline, Jose Aldo, will also be featured at the event, as he faces American Jonathan Martinez just before the Pantoja-Erceg clash.
