Around 7 p.m., Friday May 3, 2024, firefighters intervened in Bois-Guillaume, near Rouen (Seine-Maritime) to rescue a cyclist, reports News 76 . Aged 75, he was found unconscious on the ground, “probably after a fall”, explained the Seine-Maritime Departmental Fire and Rescue Service to local media.

Heart failure
He was not wearing a helmet. In cardio-respiratory arrest, the rescue attempt at resuscitation was in vain. The doctor from the Emergency and Resuscitation Medical Service (Smur) declared the death.
