The investigation into the murder of Leslie Hoorelbeke and Kevin Trompat continues. According to information from Le Parisien, a reconstruction of the night of November 25 to 26, 2022, the day of the disappearance of the couple from Deux-Sèvres, will take place this Wednesday, October 2 in Prahecqabout ten kilometers from Niort.
This reconstitution will be held in the presence of the four torturers suspects of Leslie and Kevin, Tom T., Nathan B., Mickaël Z. and Enzo C.. All prosecuted for murder, they are suspected of having developed the plan which led to the death of Leslie and Kevin in the fall of 2022 .
Leslie’s father haunted by his daughter’s ordeal
Questioned by our colleagues from Le Parisien, Leslie’s father, Patrick Hoorelbeke, expects a lot from this reconstruction. Two after after, he remains haunted by what happened to his daughter and would like to finally know the truth about his disappearance.
“We already have a fairly clear idea of how things happened and the suffering our daughter endured, he confides with his partner Émilie.
There remain discrepancies, everyone rejects responsibility for the most serious actions on others. But how can we hope today for greater sincerity on the part of these killers?
Since their arrest, the four suspects have been making discordant speeches. One thing is nevertheless certain for investigators: all participated, directly or indirectly, in the kidnapping, sequestration and assassination of Leslie and Kévinthat fateful night of November 26, 2022.
A chilling scenario
According to the suspects’ testimony, Tom T., who lent his apartment in Prahecq to the couple at the time, allegedly recruited the others to carry out the assassination of his two friends. While Leslie and Kevin had just spent the evening at Nicolas Renou, a friend of Kevin, Tom would have brought Nathan B. and Mickaël Z. to his house. Together, the three men would have hit the couple with a hammer and a machete, then allegedly put them in the trunk of the Peugeot 207 of a fourth accomplice who was waiting for them outside, Enzo C..
Subsequently, the quartet would have taken the inanimate bodies to a motorhome area in Prahecq. There, Leslie would have woken up,
“forcing” his torturers to finish him off with a shovel and a dagger. A few days later, Kevin and Leslie were reported missing by their loved ones. Their bodies were respectively found on March 3, 2023 in Puyravault and March 4, 2023 in Virson.
