New fire in a house, rue de Bellevue, in Ploumagoar

This Friday, May 3, 2024, shortly after 3 p.m., the firefighters were called to a fire in a residential house located rue de Bellevue, in Ploumagoar. Alerted by the barking of her dog, a young woman, present in the house at the time of the incident, contacted emergency services.

Around twenty firefighters, from the centers of Guingamp, Goudelin, Pommerit-le-Vicomte, begard and Pordic, were deployed, as well as around ten gendarmes. Around 4 p.m., the fire was under control. There were no injuries, but a 25 m2 veranda was destroyed. Traffic towards the city center of Guingamp was interrupted during the intervention.

Two houses, four losses

A few days ago, a fire had already been reported in this pavilion. The occupants, a father and his daughter, had been relocated there following the fire in their house, located next door. On the morning of April 26, around twenty firefighters intervened, for the second time around ten days apart.

An investigation is underway with the gendarmerie to determine the causes of these incidents.
