At the start of each month, new regulations or upgrades come into force in . This Tuesday, October 1, several changes are expected, starting with the revaluation of small retirement pensions and that of personalized housing assistance (APL). Here’s everything that changes.

Revaluation of pensions

The small pensions of retirees who have had a full career will also increase from this Tuesday. Around 850,000 people will benefit from an average increase of 50,94 euros per month.

Revaluation of the APL

Personalized housing assistance, paid by the CAFs, will be increased to be in line with the increase in rents. On average, recipients will see their assistance increase by 3,26%.

Solidarity at source tested in five departments

Starting this Tuesday, October 1, five CAFs will experiment the first stage of the solidarity at source projectthat is to say the automatic pre-filling of forms for beneficiaries. The idea is to calculate this aid using data already available to the administrations, on the same principle as for the pre-filled income tax declaration. The system, which concerns the RSA, the activity bonus and housing assistance, will be extended to the entire national territory. in March 2025.

“Young emancipation income” in Meurthe-et-

Meurthe-et-Moselle is experimenting from this Tuesday a “youth emancipation income” of 500 euros for people aged 16 to 25.
