The flooding is coming from apartments located on the upper levels.

Around 6 a.m. Thursday, May 2, 2024, firefighters were dispatched to the Monoprix store, located 23, allée d’Orléans, in downtown Nantes, for these floods.

Dewatering operations

Within the business, 400 m² of sales area was found underwater. The two upper floors of the store are partially affected.

The store remained closed all morning while firefighters carried out drying operations.

Around 1 p.m., it was unclear whether the business would reopen immediately. The origin of the disaster is not specified.
