Sale of Nexity: real estate agencies change names in Limousin

The real estate group Nexity has announced the elimination of 500 positions in promotion agencies at the national level. The measure does not concern the Limousin territory. On the other hand, the Nexity property management agencies, sold to the Evoriel group since April 2, are changing their name.

Nexity, leader in real estate development, announced the elimination of 500 positions nationally, or 20% of the workforce.

The group, in debt, decided to resize its promotion-development and building land activity. The group hopes to achieve 36 million euros in savings, then 45 million euros per year from 2026.

Lamy Agencies

The employment protection plan (PSE) does not concern the Limousin territory, in which around ten real estate and property administration agencies are located.

The latter were sold from Nexity to the Evoriel group (Bridgepoint investment fund) on April 2 on the basis of an enterprise value of 440 million euros to “accelerate the deleveraging” of the group (the net debt was of 776 million euros at the end of 2023).

The Evoriel group, which already has the networks of the Oralia and Richardière agencies for large private investors, includes the Nexity agencies, which are resuming their original name, Lamy.
