The American actor famous for his role as a cop in the “Beverly Hills Cop” saga is dead.
Aged 76, he died Thursday in Colorado after a battle with cancer.
A prolific actor, he has appeared in more than 200 films and television series.

Born in 1948 in Springfield, Massachusetts, John Ashton has appeared in more than 200 films and television series. We saw it in Dallas, Kojak, Columbo, M.A.S.H., Wonder Woman, The All Risks Agency or The Fifth Dimension.

If John Ashton participated in the first two parts (1984 and 1987), he passed his turn for the third, in 1994. He returned to service for Le Flic de Beverly Hills : Axel F.the fourth film in the saga released on Netflix last July. Married to Robin Hoye, his third wife for 24 years, he was the father of two children.
