Citizen participation in cleaning a village is a crucial initiative that encourages the involvement of residents in improving their local living environment.
It was with the members of the association, on Saturday April 20, that the residents grouped by neighborhood weeded, trimmed and landscaped their front doors and their streets.
23 people participated that day, and many other Beauvoisinois did this work before or after this date.
This operation aimed to extend and amplify the actions carried out by “Plus Beau Voisin” with a view to the beautification of Beauvoisin.
It also allowed meetings between neighbors which could continue with plantings to further green the living space, or other developments already undertaken.
Citizen participation in cleaning a village is a beneficial process on several levels, both for the environment and for social cohesion and the well-being of the local community.
The conclusion of this morning of cleaning the village with a friendly drink is a great way to bring the participants together and celebrate together the collective effort made.
