The derby between Red Star and Paris FC was eagerly awaited, after 26 years without a second division confrontation between these two teams. And the visitors enforced the hierarchy against the promoted team (1-3), to regain the leadership of Ligue 2. The PFC takes the lead in the championship ahead of Grenoble and is now awaiting the result from Metz, which travels to Troyes this Saturday (8 p.m.).
In a warm atmosphere, the meeting was relatively balanced, but the Parisians showed a lot of realism when it came time to conclude to win the match. By opening the score first, through Adama Camara, following a ball poorly cleared by Bisenty Mendy (1-0, 20e).
