Circumstances of the murder of Matissekilled on Saturday in Châteauroux, are revealed little by little. Sunday evening, the police custody of two suspects was extended, according to our information. The main suspect, a minor of Afghan nationality, aged 15, like the victim, and his mother will be referred this Monday afternoon.
On Saturday, a brawl “with knives” broke out on the public highway in Châteauroux. Matisse received several “stab wounds”, according to the public prosecutor. He died from his injuries in the evening. An investigation was opened by the prosecution for “attempted intentional homicide”.
The teenager suspected of the murder was already known to the police and justice services. Targeted by two criminal proceedings, he was indicted for “aggravated theft with violence” on April 22 in the context of another case.
